In August 2008, CEO Inc. attended the World Education Congress presented by MPI in Las Vegas.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is the recognition that an organization is inextricably intertwined with society and the earth and must take responsibility for its actions in regard to the “triple bottom line” of people, planet, and profit. We learned that our industry has a huge opportunity and responsibility to help our communities throughout the world to understand and implement CSR practices.

When it comes to special events, there are many ways we can implement CSR practices. Donating unused food to event staff, using recycled paper to print event stationary, asking exhibitors to refrain from distributing non-eco friendly printed material, using online registration and e-billing for event attendees are just a few of a large list of CSR practices.
